Hi there, I'm Ava
I work as a project manager and am a parent, currently living as an expat in Toronto, Canada.
A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary contract gradually grew into a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to Canada wasn't in the master plan. Like many international assignments, it began as a job lead and soon grew into something far more significant.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, and elevated expectations. Routine chores felt more tangled than they'd seem.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and lots of hands-on learning. But gradually, routines settled in. We found places that suited us, connected with other families, and started building something that felt stable.
Why I Built Ajin Ifosot Ytara
Most online information was either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism material. What was missing was a genuine, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to fill that gap — practical advice drawn from real life in Canada.
What This Site Is (And Isn't)
This site is:
- Hands-on insights gained from life in Canada
- Centered on family routines and daily realities
- Updated whenever something really changes
This site is not:
- Not a tourism authority resource
- Not a sponsored review site
- Not a generic travel blog
Looking Ahead
Our stay in Canada goes on, and so does the process of learning. As long as the information remains helpful, I will continue recording our discoveries.
If you have questions about family life in Toronto or anywhere in Canada, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Warm regards,
Ava
